Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • OR business and financial analysis.
• 2+ yearsleveragingpassion for and understanding the need to deliver the right business impact by working with stakeholders to turn business problems into data analysis questions and unearthing deep insights from data.
• Experience workingon AI products, oron an online collaboration, video conference, ormessagingproduct is a plus.
• Havea track recordof innovative thinking and problem-solving skills using Big Data.
• Have the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.
• 2+years experiencewith data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• 2+years experiencewith Python and/or R for statistical analysis and data modeling.
• 2+years experienceutilizingSQLandExcel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Ability to convince others of their ideas and communicate complex analysis & insights to a non-technical audience.

• Develop metrics,designreports,dashboardsfor rhythm of business support,andincreasetheteam’sagility forself-serviceinsights.
• Define key performance indicators, forecast trends, and develop data-driven frameworks that inform business priorities and investment decisions.
• Identifyopportunities to use AI-powered solutions to answer business questions.
• Monitor key business metrics, proactively flag unexpected metricmovementsand conduct deep dives to understand underlying root causes.
• Apply a user experience design best practices to ensure data analysis is easily consumable through visualization, presentation, and storytelling.
• Lead discussions interpreting results and connecting them to relevant business context. Provide actionable recommendations tooptimizebusiness investments in a way that can be repeated and scaled as needed.
• Identifyand automate common metrics and visualizations that speed up our decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with other Microsoft Data Science and Data Engineering teams to deliver data-informed solutions to address the business's most essential needs.
