Our Software Engineers develop a Sustainability Data Platform that hosts analytical and predictive models. This platform helps AWS teams gain business insights on sustainability. You will collaborate with Data Engineers to build large data models and Data Scientists to create predictive models, enhancing decision-making. You will work with internal and external AWS customers to build a system that measures and provides actionable decisions to reduce carbon footprint.A day in the life

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
