Reporting to the Field IT Manager Europe:You will oversee all IT systems at the Weilburg site.
Local Liaison:Act as the local contact for internationally spread IT teams and our outsourcing partners.
IT Generalist:Take end responsibility for maintaining a stable infrastructure that serves the local business community.
Hands-on Support:Provide practical support for IT services that cannot be handled remotely.
End User Assistance:Help end users follow the company's IT support processes.
Participation in International IT Projects:Engage in international IT projects or act as Project Manager for local Weilburg projects.
Ad-hoc Travel:Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT and3-5 years of experience in a similar position within an international outsourced organization.
Data Center Techniques:General knowledge of electricity, UPS, air-conditioning, racking, and cable patching.
Communication and Team Collaboration:Your communication and teamwork skills, along with your flexibility, are key to your success in this role.
Organized and Autonomous Work:Work independently and in an organized manner.
PC:Knowledge of Windows OS, MAC OS, SCCM SW installation, and Office products.
Networks:General knowledge of LAN, WAN, remote access, firewall, WAN acceleration, wireless, and network monitoring solutions.
Server/Compute:Virtualization.
Storage and Backup.
Mobility:Mobile Device Management system.
Service Management:ITIL, Service Now ticket handling, major incident handling, problem management.
Fluent in English:Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
