Description
In this camera software engineer role, you will work on applications, multimedia framework and firmware to analyze and showcase algorithms that enable high-quality user experiences for different use cases. You will collaborate with multiple camera technology teams to build platform that enables experimenting and prototyping of various camera algorithms on Apple products for proof-of-concepts, and refining algorithms into shippable product features.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Self-driven and passionate for camera technologies, as well as prototyping and productization
  • Ability to learn quickly and become familiar with multiple technology areas
  • Experience or knowledge on image or video processing
  • Experience or knowledge on CV/ML
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills with OOP design experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems without explicit directions, and deliver results under tight engineering schedule
  • System software experience in multi-threading programming environment
  • Development experiences in realtime camera framework or driver
  • Knowledge or experience in ISP pipeline
  • Experiences in iOS software development is a big plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
