Job Description

As an,you will be responsible for supporting global rebate programs, including calculating earned credits from system data and analyzing distributor deductions to reconcile and resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities include timely communication of credit memos, preparing reports for monthly and quarterly close, supporting customers in the rebate submission process, managing files and records, and ensuring compliance with targets and service levels.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support for global rebate programs & rebate bulletin
  • Load system data required to calculate earned credits
  • Analyze distributor deductions and reconcile to pricing earned rebate credits and resolve disputes / discrepancies
  • Responsible for timely communication of credit memos and contract notices.
  • Helps perform necessary activities; prepare reports and documents for monthly and quarterly close.
  • Provide support and training to customers rebate submission process
  • Manage files, records, transactions and other office procedures and maintain audit trail
  • Ensure targets, measurements and service levels are met

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Business Management, or a related field of study.
  • Atleast 2 years of professional experience in the Accounts Receivable function.
  • Functional experience in the areas of Rebates, Sales, and Inventory is an advantage.
  • Industry exposure in Shared Services or Global Business Services setup is highly preferred.

System, Tools and Application Requirements:

  • Strong familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud or SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Acceptable knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reconciliation and reporting.
  • Ability to complete assigned work accurately and on time.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and rebate statuses.
  • Ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment or even in a Work from home set up.
