Purpose :
This position is responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the brand's presence in the children's apparel market. This position requires extensive experience in the fashion industry, particularly in kids' clothing, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive sales, enhance product offerings, and ensure alignment with market trends. The role required to work in a fast-paced retail environment that requires flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Merchandising Development : Create and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies that align with brand goals and market demands. Analyze consumer insights and sales data to inform product selection and assortment planning.
- Market Trend Analysis : Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences through continuous market research. Attend trade shows and industry events to gather insights for future product lines.
- Product Management & Planning: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet safety standards and consumer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with design, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive execution of merchandising plans. Facilitate communication between global teams & Local Creation team to align on product creation and adaption briefs.
- Sales Performance Monitoring : Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas needing improvement. Adjust merchandising strategies based on performance data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in merchandising within the fashion industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role focused on children’s apparel.
- Proven track record of successful product development and merchandising strategies that drive sales growth.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools; ability to interpret complex data sets to make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Skillsets & Ability :
- Bachelor's Degree in business or Apparel Fashion related discipline is required
- High Curiosity & Strong sense on marketplace trends & landscape for Kids
- Advanced knowledge on Outlook / Word / Excel / Powerpoint
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)

Work Environment:
