About the role:

Our Urology Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) team is seeking a talented and driven candidate to help lead the future of real-world evidence generation for innovative urology therapies. In this exciting role, you will design and execute impactful research using large healthcare datasets and advanced analytics platforms, uncover meaningful insights, and translate them into high-quality scientific publications. You will work closely with strategic stakeholders and global HEMA leaders to inform access and policy decisions through rigorous scientific research and co-author studies with leading clinicians in the field of urology. This role is central to improving patient outcomes and shaping the value narrative of cutting-edge medical technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently execute or lead collaboration with the HEMA Analytic and/or Corporate health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) teams on research projects approved by the Associate HEMA Director, based on business needs identified by the Global Strategic HEMA Leads.
  • Identify and assess the feasibility of innovative HEMA research ideas, including novel data sources, study designs, and tool development opportunities that address unmet business needs across franchises.
  • Conduct advanced data analyses using statistical software platforms such as Instant Health Data (IHD), working with large real-world datasets.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, collaborating effectively to gather critical insights and foster partnerships for evidence generation.
  • Lead the development of scientific abstracts and manuscripts for conferences and peer-reviewed journals, collaborating with Global Strategic HEMA Leads and other stakeholders as needed to communicate the clinical and economic value of key therapies.
  • Serve as a methodological expert and thought leader within the HEMA team, proactively introducing innovative research designs, analytic techniques, and evidence development strategies that strengthen the scientific rigor and impact of the team’s work.
  • Act as a strategic resource in identifying and leveraging publicly available health data sources to support real-world evidence generation and decision-making for the urology portfolio.
  • Coordinate pan-franchise initiatives that enhance HEMA visibility, consistency, efficiency, and collaboration across franchises—such as conference planning, internal knowledge sharing, and cross-functional alignment on strategic evidence themes and deliverables.
  • Maintain and continuously update a centralized evidence tracking matrix to monitor progress, timelines, and key deliverables across all franchises.
  • Deliver metrics and actionable insights to the HEMA Leadership Team to inform strategic planning, optimize resource allocation, and support internal communications.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical device industry or in medical device-related research projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in urologic disease research, supported by a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in scientific abstracts and journal articles.
  • Hands-on experience using the Instant Health Data (IHD) platform for real-world data analysis, including querying large administrative claims or electronic health records (EHR) datasets, cohort building, and outcomes analysis.
  • Experience with other analytical packages, such as SAS, R, STATA, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and global healthcare reimbursement, policy, advocacy, and market access landscapes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating expertise and contributions to the field of health economics and outcomes research.

Preferred qualifications:
