You have the opportunity to become a thought leader and change agent by applying your technical skill and innovative thinking to build data management and analytics solutions and help our clients re-think test design, data discovery and generation. You must stay on the leading edge of technology and use it to create bespoke data management solutions to solve problems for our clients. Specifically, your mission will be to design, build, deploy and customize complex test data management and analytics solutions that would create a data ecosystem to influence test design, manual and automated test execution, reporting and overall streamline software application delivery. You will be expected to build custom frameworks, wrappers, and integrations between existing tools and frameworks to provide new, cutting-edge capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead teams through the technical design, build, implementation and operationalizing complex technical solutions. You will need to ask better questions to truly understand our client’s “why” and develop better answers by drawing on your experience in consulting and technology.

  1. Create and articulate innovative solutions that add value to our clients and differentiate EY
  2. Be a champion for our thought leadership and leading capabilities internally and externally
  3. Develop relationships and communicate effectively with client peers and executives
  4. Look beyond deliverables to understand client needs and pain points
  5. Lead US and global teams of 2 – 10 members in client and internal projects

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics or a related field and approximately 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Passion and interest in understanding and using data to solve problems
  • Experience in coordinating activities across multiple operations teams including development, testing, infrastructure, data and delivery teams
  • Experience with database technologies, integration, and distributed data architectures
  • Exposure to data management tools like Informatica, Broadcom (CA) Test Data Manager (TDM), GenRocket, Delphix, OpenRefine, OSDQ
  • 4 years of hands on experience in dealing with data analytics and management concepts such as:
    • Data discovery/profiling
    • Data quality and cleaning
    • Data provisioning, deployment and generation
    • Operationalizing data pipelines – from requests intake, processing, reserving, delivery and restoration of data
    • Processing scaled real time data
    • Producing intelligent data sets in lower level environments – synthetic/manufactured data
    • Desensitize confidential information with masking/obfuscation techniques
  • At least 4 years of experience in handling the following:
    • Structured data sources – Oracle, MySQL, Terradata, MongoDB, GreenPlum, DB2, cloud storage, etc.
    • Unstructured data sources - app server logs, monitoring tools, etc.
  • At least 4 years of experience in at least 2 of the below programming languages:
    • Java
    • SQL
  • At least 4 years of experience in consulting
    • Client relationship building and becoming their trusted advisors
    • Executive communication
  • Seeing problems as challenges and opportunities, not roadblocks
  • Technical experience with all aspects of the software lifecycle including design, architecture, development and testing
  • Experience in creative solutions leveraging easily accessible technology (cloud provider offerings, open source technology and common technology tooling)
  • Working knowledge on ETL techniques, Hadoop, Big data is an advantage

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with Hadoop, Data analytics, Big data and setting up Data Lakes
  • Financial services experience(Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Insurance) alsoincluding prior consulting experience
  • Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications

What we offer you

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
