What you'll do...
The Intrusion Analyst role serves as the frontline in the identification and response to cyber security incidents, triaging security alerts and conducting initial investigations to determine appropriate response actions.
What you'll do:
- Identify, and respond to cybersecurity threats
- Perform analysis to identify suspicious activities and behaviors
- Work with other stakeholder in Incident Management and other parts of the organization to minimize impact to normal business operations
- Create job related documentation and processes
What you'll bring:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of, and/or experience in enterprise IT environments
- An understanding of relevant security industry trends, technologies, and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP's).
- A passion for learning and building from experience to develop tools that will inhibit threat actors and their methods.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area. Option 2: 3 years’ experience in intrusion analysis or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Certified Intrusion analyst (GCIAs), GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security+ certification, Certified ArcSight Engineer, and/or SIEM platform certifications, Experience in cybersecurity within the past 5 years, Experience with at least two of the following technologies: SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, Antivirus, Web Proxies, Authentication, Cryptography, Unix/Windows server administration, and/or network administration
