Key Responsibilities

  • Selling: Integrates into the patient care continuum. Cultivates a small to mid-size base of customers and/or a less complex customer base. Continuously prospects for new customers, acts on leads and persuasively positions our products and services versus competitors. Drives sales revenue to achieve territory priorities. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and insight of competitor strengths, weaknesses and strategies. Establishes the competitive culture for sales within a territory.
  • Business Acumen: Translates business strategy into clear objectives by maintaining pricing strategy discipline, anticipating problems and establishing procedures for meeting goals. Acts in accordance with compliance, quality and T&E policies. Demonstrates broad understanding of financial management principles and its impact on a territory level. Collaborates with RBM, HE&R and National Accounts to increase sales team success.
  • People: Viewed as a valuable resource by colleagues, peers and clinicians. Develops key relationships with clinicians, technicians, nurses, and patients. Is visible to the team within a territory. Provides coaching and feedback to less experienced staff.
  • Technical: Advanced working knowledge of BSN products and applications. Able to cover cases with advanced complexity, and full system competency. Maintains composure in complex clinical situations. Participates in Health Care Provider training.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Experience in a sales or hybrid role, as Account Manager or Clinical Field Specialist or simmilar
  • Biomedical Engineering degree, Scientific degree, business education or nurse – would be an asset
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in the distribution of medical devices, preferably in the hospital sector (beneficial)
  • Good collaboration, communication and influencing skills
