About the role
Your responsibilities will include
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and present sales performance data and trends to key stakeholders (e.g., leadership, sales managers).
- Strategic Insights: Provide actionable insights that inform decisions around pricing, territory design, sales strategies, and customer segmentation.
- Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts based on historical performance, market trends, and external factors like healthcare regulations.
- KPIs & Metrics Development: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of sales operations.
- Dashboards & Visualization: Create visual dashboards and reports that communicate complex data in an easily digestible format.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with leadership teams to ensure data aligns with business objectives and supports strategic initiatives.
- Sales Incentive Compensation: Develop and design sales incentive compensation plans and territorial sales quotas for all field sales personnel.
- Advanced Reporting Tools: Create sophisticated dashboards and reporting systems that track KPIs, highlight emerging trends, and provide actionable insights to various stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Consulting within MedTech, Medical Devices, or Healthcare Services.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge with PowerPoint and Word.
- Background supporting end users on Business Intelligence (Tableau) and CRM (SFDC) software.
- Ability to learn and utilize Mapping software to develop and modify territory and region sales geographies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate large data sets from multiple perspectives to generate conclusions and drive decisions.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal stakeholders.
- Solution oriented mindset that is comfortable with fast pace in a rapidly changing industry.
- Ability to travel 5% for events and meetings.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Boston Scientific, Neuromodulation, Pain Management, or related medical device fields
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining SAS-based applications at a basic to intermediate level
