Manage the MCA Operating Model, Governance, and facilitation as required by the MCA Standard including the assessment and appropriate approval of risk associated with business changes
Act as MCA Architect overseeing stakeholder communications and training, including ensuring successful completion of Annual Risk Assessments (ARA), Continuous Monitoring and ARCM/PRCM data quality, MCA and Control Framework Transformation Implementation, MCA Procedure Adherence Testing, Analysis of Issues for material risks, Enterprise and Standard MCA Profile effectiveness
Partner with Process Owners, Risk Owners and Controls Owners to ensure adherence to MCA Procedures and Controls Standards
Participate in MCA and Control Framework Transformation working groups to identify implementation milestones
Coordinate with colleagues across other Risk and Control disciplines to improve the end-to-end MCA framework and implement transformation execution activities
Report on progress and represent the program across Citi’s governance structures
Qualifications & skills:
15+ years of experience in operational risk roles, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience
Subject Matter Expertise of MCA and Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
A strong business understanding of COO functions preferred
Flexible, team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Ability to quickly develop an effective integrated team environment
Change management experience with Program/Project Management (PMO) experience using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor, and report on concurrent projects
Proven ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment, resolve problems, and offer impacting solutions
Adept at working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment to lead and drive complex operational initiatives across multiple geographies with diverse resources
Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency
Capable of constructively challenging others at all levels and across boundaries to deliver better results
Comfortable communicating reality, both positive and negative - honestly, openly, and directly
