Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will:

• Lead the development of groundbreaking prototypes for our high-profile clients, leveraging the latest advancements in technology.
• Harness the power of React and Node JS, Cloud computing (with a preference for Azure), and Python to build scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate high-level ideas/problems into tangible innovations.
• Drive the full project lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring that each prototype exceeds expectations.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies, continuously integrating them into your work to maintain our competitive edge.
• Supporting live deployed prototypes including DevOps CI/CD and Cloud resources

This role is designed for those who are self-starters, ready to "run with ideas" and possess the motivation to deliver results without constant oversight. The office is in Canary Wharf, London, with the flexibility to work from home ~3 days per week. On occasion, there might be a requirement to travel as needed to showcase prototypes and collaborate with teams.

Skills and attributes for success

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate:

• Proficiency in React, Python, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems.
• Experience with database management and architecture, including Mongo DB and SQL.
• Familiarity with Lang Chain, Vector Databases, and LLMs (Open AI), or the eagerness to master these technologies.
• A history of innovation and a portfolio that showcases your ability to turn ideas into reality.
• Enjoy learning new technologies and able to persist when faced with challenges.
• Willingness to work in a small team, collaborate and share knowledge

To qualify for the role you must have

• A proven track record as a Senior Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
• A history of successful software development using the technologies listed above.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with cloud services, particularly Azure.
• A background in working with large-scale clients and understanding their unique challenges.
• A relentless curiosity about new technologies and a drive to incorporate them into your work.
