Job responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the implementation of tax changes across the Americas markets, assessing impacts on product and service offerings.
  • Support the governance model to ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain internal/external materials reflecting current local law and treaty, including entity-level taxation.
  • Engage with clients regarding our Global Custody Tax Product and participate in client presentations.
  • Support maintenance of tax information in JPMorgan’s Tax Intelligence platform.
  • Work with advisors and industry participants to oversee tax services in local markets.
  • Participate in relevant industry associations.
  • Draft market flashes, policies, and tax product materials.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Corporate Tax teams to assess impacts of Market & Regulatory developments.
  • Support the definition and implementation of new/enhanced tax product features.
  • Support client requests requiring changes to the custody tax service offering.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years in a professional services firm, financial services firm, or product management support role in a tax technical role.
  • Ability to move process change from initial requirements to delivery.
  • Significant experience in professional services, financial services, or product management.
  • Knowledge of Securities Taxation and custodian services.
  • Strategic thinking in product strategy and development.
  • Proven expertise in developing and delivering business solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills and client-facing experience.
  • Experience in North America, especially Canada, in client engagement and Tax Authority liaison.
  • Ability to work independently and in a matrix organization.
  • Experience managing and influencing key business partners and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a track record of delivery.
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams across APAC, WHEM, and EMEA.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with tax laws in various jurisdictions and Securities Taxation services.
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax withholding and reporting regulations, including W-8 series tax forms, 1042-S, and 1099 information reporting.
