ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Subject matter expert for assigned commodities
• Broad function is to support his/her Section Head to meet SQE and overall quality KPI.
• Engage in supplier development during product development stage all the way through sustaining quality management during mass production
• Take ownership of a component related excursion and provide leadership to drive root cause and corrective/preventive actions implementation
• Facilitate and guide suppliers on FMEA+ adoption to establish supplier’s process robustness
• Formalize process design to manage and control any changes at suppliers
• Collaborating with suppliers on continuous variability reduction of HDD component to achieve ultimate goal of CpK > 1.67 Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years in Engineering or related field
• Able to write and has good command of English
• Able to travel to other Thailand factories on short notice

PREFERRED:

• Previous experience in Hard disk drive or chemical related industries
• ​​​​​​​Experienced in Quality Management Tool
• Familiar with 8 Disciplines of problem solving
• Trained Six-sigma
• Previous experience in Supplier Quality Management and Control system (Supplier management Guideline)
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
• Traveling within Asia may be required
