Primary Responsibilities:
- Observe and inspect ongoing construction work is in accordance with Contract documents.
- Review plans and specifications to ensure that work, materials, and installation are compliant with plans and specifications.
- Review contractors’ pay notes and recommend for approval for actual work completed to the client.
- Inspect traffic control against approved traffic control plans - Maintain a daily report of work in progress and status of completion and discuss construction related issues with client contact.
- Provide advisory services for submittals, RFI’s and Change Orders
- Manage 3rd party special inspections for the project as required
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Construction Management OR equivalent work experience
- 0-2 years of construction or inspection experience in public infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in concrete construction inspection for transportation proje
