Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience with Software and API development in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Coordinating day-to-day system development and maintenance activities for Apigee platform Engineering in global regions; Handling full software development, testing, deployment and operational lifecycle using Jira, Github, Bitbucket, and RLM; Enabling microservices using REST and SOAP based APIs to interact with Enterprise Partners by securely controlling requests/responses; Implementing cryptography technologies using Encryption, Decryption, and Digital Signature; Utilizing scripting languages including JavaScript, Perl, and Unix to automate security policy migration from development environment to higher environment; Implementing REST API, SOAP APIs, Plans, and Security Policies using IBM API Management; Utilizing Load balancers, firewalls, DMZ and other network concepts related to Apigee to provide security architecture from the external and/or internal firewalls and restrict vulnerabilities; and Working on multiple API platforms including apigee hybrid, apigee x, API Connect, Kong, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Cloud to support and provide technical experience for multi-vendor technology stack. 40 hrs./wk.
