Who we seek:
We’re seeking a Competitive Intelligence Manager; this person will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, creating, and leveraging competitive intelligence to inform and optimize field and technical enablement, marketing strategies, and product development. This role requires a data-driven, analytical, and strategic mind with a passion for understanding market trends, technology differentiation, and competitor activities.
What you’ll do:
- Competitive Landscape Analysis:
- Gather information on a range of competitor sets, integrating disparate findings and data into content that uses compelling competitive positioning and strategic guidance for stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities, including announcements, partnerships, campaigns, & positioning.
- Identify competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
- Create and distill competitive intelligence into consumable materials - combining internal intel with additional analysis.
- Competitive Intelligence Field Enablement:
- Deliver compelling, interactive training sessions on your competitors to sales teams that have a wide range of experience, from GTM to technical audiences, from early career trainees to senior leaders.
- Enablement & training activities to position and highlight product differentiation to enable the customer-facing teams (Sales, SE, CSM, Professional Services)
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarizing competitive intelligence findings and key takeaways, including win/loss analysis
- Communicate key findings and collaborate cross-functionally to infuse competitive content across enablement strategy and delivery.
- Implement a robust feedback loop with the field to gather competitive intelligence from the front lines and incorporate it back into the overall competitive strategy and materials
- Develop strategies to mitigate competitive threats.
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, corporate strategy, or competitive intelligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill and present information clearly and in a compelling manner
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience working with B2B software in data security, privacy, governance or data management
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights

The annual base salary range is $110,000 – $130,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is just one component of our Compensation Philosophy. Variable/Bonus Compensation & Equity Incentives align with individual and company performance.
