Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager/Director in Value Creation & Operational Excellence, you will execute value creation projects across the entire transaction lifecycle, including tasks like:

  • Analysing and evaluating value chains as part of large, complex transactions for our national and international clients.

  • Driving operational and financial analysis as part of multi-disciplinary, integrated due diligence teams to understand the target company's performance and uncover opportunity areas for value creation.

  • Realizing developed value creation cases post-deal together with Private Equity Investors and Management Teams of their portfolio companies (i.e., transforming business models, optimizing production footprints, supply chains, and corporate functions).

  • Managing projects and solving problems daily along with your team, coordinating multiple advisory engagements, and motivating your team to work together on shared challenges.

  • Interacting with senior client stakeholders to advise, shape and drive the strategy and planning for the acquisition opportunity.

  • Coaching and leading your team members' professional and personal development.

  • Managing pursuits, including delivering presentations and leading client meetings.

  • Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.

Job requirements– Where do you start if you want to change the world?

  • A Master’s degree Postgraduate is preferred.

  • At least 7 years of working experience in consulting or private equity/corporate operational roles (COO Office) is necessary.

  • Significant experience in pre-deal scenarios (operational due diligence, synergy identification, and carve-out planning) and post-deal scenarios (integration/ carve-out planning and implementation) across a diverse range of clients is required.

  • Specific experience in Supply Chain Management/Operational Excellence is required, including significant experience in cost optimization (COGS optimization, Plant & Manufacturing Operations, Procurement improvements).

  • Specific experience and project leadership in a range of business-critical projects' such operational due diligence (with focus on EBITDA upside and operational risk), post-acquisition 100 day and value creation planning, ongoing performance improvement and exit readiness planning.

  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.

  • Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of the clients we serve.

What do we offer?

  • Flexible working: you decide where and when you work in consultation with your team. At home, at the office, at the client's location, or from another European country (up to 20 working days per year)
  • Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on the position) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month
  • Time off: you are entitled to 34 vacation days per year when full-time employed and you have the option to purchase additional days.
  • Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation
  • Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle through a monthly deduction from your gross salary (the purchase cost is spread over 12 months) or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement
  • Pension scheme: you will start building a pension capital immediately upon joining EY. Each month, a premium is allocated to your pension account with our pension provider. You also have the option to voluntarily contribute additional funds to your pension

Recruitment procedure
