FS Technology Consulting – Senior Solution Architect - Senior Manager/Director – Dublin

Our projects are multifaceted, often involving complex stakeholder management and a wide range of technologies and applications. Your role is pivotal—providing insightful advice drawn from your knowledge and experience to steer our clients towards optimal outcomes.

As a member of our Technology Consulting Team, you'll be part of dynamic group known for their exceptional performance and dedication to client service. Your key responsibilities:

  • Craft Strategic Architectural Visions: Develop and refine the overarching technology architecture strategy to support our client’s financial services' business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Design Cutting-Edge Solutions: Architect scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver value to our clients.
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders, IT experts, and third-party vendors to ensure a shared understanding and alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Lead Technology Selection: Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all architectural designs adhere to financial regulations, security standards, and data protection laws.
  • SupportProject Execution: Provide technical leadership across projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
  • Manage Risks Proactively: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the technology landscape to maintain system integrity and reliability.
  • Drive Performance Improvements: Analyse current systems and processes to recommend enhancements that optimize performance and user experience.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Lead and nurture a team of architects and engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Champion Innovation: Stay at the forefront of FinTech advancements to integrate innovative solutions that keep us ahead in a competitive market.


To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, preferably within the financial services industry, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in modern technologies and architectural patterns.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure
  • A deep understanding of financial services operations, regulatory requirements, and emerging FinTech trends.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • A strategic mindset to align technology solutions with business goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience of working with the Agile methodology.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) may be preferred or required.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to improve the speed and quality of software development.
  • Experience working in or with international teams, understanding of global markets, and the ability to navigate cultural differences.
  • Experience in negotiating with and managing third-party vendors and service providers.
  • Ability to work across various domains and systems, and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
