Description
- Own the development of Cellular RF Software controlling the RF transceivers and Front-end components in real-time full signaling mode.- Track execution for RF SW plans across project phases from implementation and pre-silicon validation to cellular feature bring-up. - Manage maturization of RF Software through cellular modem system testing, field testing, interoperability testing, and production ramp.- Drive and report RF Software activities for development, validation, non-regression testing, release management, improvements and defect resolution.- Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.- Deliver presentations supporting executive reviews including project status, key metrics, top risks and issues.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability with a track record of hands-on program management, project management or engineering management in the FW/SW domain.
- Relevant proven experience in cellular modem Layer 1 / RF Software development and/or RF verification.
- Good understanding about Development Lifecycle for embedded Software.
- Knowledge of cellular modem baseband building blocks and software layers.
- Good understanding of RF transceiver and RF front end components control for cellular modems.
- Knowledge of RF Cellular major features, real-time requirements and associated challenges.
- Experience in wireless standards a significant plus (GSM/UMTS/4G LTE/5G-NR/5G-mmW).
- Ability to quickly establish and manage sophisticated multi-functional relationships in a dynamic engineering environment.
- Creative problem solver with ability to lead technical teams and multi-functional groups against plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at senior management level.
- Experience demonstrating strong presentation skills.
Education & Experience
BS and 10+ years relevant industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,400 and $268,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
