FortiPortal is a web-based service portal that integrates and manages Fortinet network and security devices with configuration, monitoring and analysis capabilities, which allows service providers and users to customize needed widgets for specific usage. As a team member, you will be responsible for testing the end-to-end functionality of the product. You will be working closely with multiple development and QA teams to verify new features, regression test existing functionalities, automate test case and improve the product's usability, reliability, and performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute feature and bug fix testing for the FortiPortal product using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.
• Help build frameworks and packages required to implement end to end automation involving multiple products.
• Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.
• Set up and simulate on-site instances and reproduce customer’s reported defects.
• Work with internal teams to diagnose and troubleshoot issues found in production and staging environments.
• Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed.

Job Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience working as a QA in a networking or cloud service environment.
• Experience with automation using Python or Javascript is a must.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPN, firewalls, switching, and routing.
• Ability to create and maintain automation test infrastructure.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot web applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and reproducible problem reports and test results.
• Experience working with OpenStack, AWS, GCP and Azure is preferred.
• Experience with SAML/RADIUS/LDAP is a plus.
• Experience with WIFI technology is an asset.

Educational Requirements

A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related fields.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $85,000 - $116,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
