You will:

• The primary responsibilities of this position are toestablishsystem performance requirements,optimizethe product to meet those requirements, andvalidatethat the product meets those requirements. This involves working with internal development teams and external suppliers and development partners to develop innovative solutions for PCs,using leading-edge performance analysis tools, software optimization techniques, and benchmarking processes.

• The Performance Architect will alsobe responsible fordriving others, including external suppliers and development partners, to deliver robust performance solutions.

• ComputerEngineering or similar field with 7-10+years ofexperience

• Extensive knowledge ofsystemand x86processor architecture

• Strong understanding ofbalancingpower, thermals, and acousticstooptimizesystemperformanceandtheuser experience

• track recordofevaluating the performance impact of newhardware, firmware, and/orsoftwarefeaturesand providing guidance on trade-offs

• Experience working with major silicon vendors andleveragingtheir latest technologie

Desirable Requirements

• Graduate degree is a plus
