What you will accomplish:

• Bring solid engineering proficiency, proven track record of solving critical engineering problems.

• Work closely with colleagues and customers in different functional groups and remote offices.

• Identify problem areas in the broader Shipping areas, write proposals for product solutions, align various partners, design, build and deliver solutions end to end.

• Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation

What you will bring:

• Prefer 9+ years of work experience and a degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong experience with JVM languages Java, Python or C#

• Experience in building large, reliable, scalable distributed systems , event-driven applications , designing and building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, and experience with at least one scripting language.

• Proven experience in architecting backend systems and deep understanding of design patterns, and experience working in a layered architecture .

• K nowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with modern DevOps principles and continuous delivery.

• Experience with building front-end applications using React or Angular is a plus .
