As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for research that helps Prime Video extract terms from contracts using AI, extract insights from it's catalog, and proactively detect and eliminate defects before they become a problem for our customers. You will be part of a fun, fast paced team that obsesses over the entertainment space.Key job responsibilities
You will work with a mix of Front End and Back End engineers, with regular opportunities to work directly with Sr Scientists. You will be responsible for original research that will connect directly to business outcomes such as helping prime video increase our asset collection, automatically read and enforce Prime Video contracts, and proactively detect and act on defects within the Prime Video catalog. You need to be a strong problem solver with a knack of making high judgment trade-offs on a daily basis. Finally, you will be responsible for continuously learning and staying abreast of scientific development relevant to our space, and act as a though leader for the broader team.

- 3+ years of building models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 2+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
