Associate Director Market Supply Chain is an instrumental role in the IBP/S&OP/S&OE processes and is expected to enable improved supply availability and increased customer service while optimizing inventory performance. This position will motivate, challenge and lead a team of supply & demand planners driving process excellence and continuous improvement. As the owner of the S&OP process, govern a monthly supply & demand plan in collaboration with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Finance and Operations delivering the best possible service levels and forecast accuracy while reducing error. This individual will be challenged with managing a vast portfolio of products with a wide variation of supply and market dynamics that must be managed and considered in the Supply Chain planning.
- Govern supply & demand plans along with supporting assumptions to enable achievement of the company’s objectives
- Lead and motivate a diverse group of people to effectively execute their work in a dynamic work environment
- Managing inventory levels to maintain desired Commercial customer service levels needs for existing and new products
- Drive to meet critical targets for AOP, Customer Service Level (CSL)/ On Time in Full (OTIF), Inventory, Short-Date, and Backorder/OOS
- Leverage SAP Advance Planner and Optimizer (APO) capabilities to efficiently build a customer Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) forecast driving to an exception based review each month
- Improve forecast accuracy by leveraging industry best practices, analytics, and collaboration with marketing, sales, customer service and finance.
- Engage with the Forecasting Center of Excellence to sustain and improve the statistical models for each product segment
- Facilitate monthly Consensus Operational Forecast in concert with IBP key constituents driving alignment while articulating and documenting risks and opportunities to the plan
- Develop, document, update and challenge the assumptions supporting the Demand and Supply Plan
- Establish and leverage key performance indicators for problem solving, root cause analysis, identification and implementation of process improvements.
- Participate and develop in annual operation plan discussions and long-range planning activities that enable strategic decisions.
- Accountable for reporting on defined performance metrics and resolved root causes and or mitigation strategies
- Actively participate in new product introduction, bids/tenders, and product transfer teams to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated and executed in support of the project timelines
- Escalate issues to Supply Chain Director as appropriate
- Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Other projects and duties as required/assigned
The person hired will be expected to be onsite out of the Toronto, Canada office 3 days a week
