Core Responsibilities Include:Manage a small team of Development Engineers in TestDevelop, modify, automate complete test strategies, plans, and programsCoordinate and optimize testing in a multi-functional environment co-ordinating with multiple locationsDrive quality initiatives for areas of responsibilityActively participate in testing the work you're doing
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in Test or Software Quality Engineer.
- 3+ years as a Software Quality Engineering Manager.
- Deep understanding of SQA methodologies, processes, tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- BS in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in tools, automation frameworks
- Experience working in other languages like C, Obj C is a plus along with iOS, macOS or Unix/Linux.
- Passion to recruit, manage and develop high-performance engineering teams.
- Detail oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with passion for quality processes.
- Comfortable working in a constantly evolving and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution.
- Ability to empower teams to achieve exciting yet attainable goals.
- Telemetry/DataAnalysis experience with Splunk or similar tools
- Familiarity with Source Control Management such as svn or git
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $272,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
