Global Integrated Delivery is crucial to the success of our projects, our business, and the strong relationships we have with our clients. You will apply your project execution and workshare knowledge in support of project delivery from proposal through all phases of project execution. Working closely with Advanced Manufacturing senior staff, project management, project controls, finance, and engineering teams to find opportunities for increased Global Execution. You’ll monitor performance and make sure projects have established plans to meet or exceed as-sold GID targets and monitor against those plans, recommending corrective actions as necessary. You will understand the business plan and advise how our Global Execution can support meeting our business objectives. You will report to the AM Director of Project Excellence.
This is a primarily billable role that will engage directly on projects, with project and design managers, and with sales leads and capture managers.
Role Overview :
• Reviewing RFP documents to understand scopes of work and opportunities for GID execution, supporting the proposal process with regards to this execution.
• Working directly on proposals and projects with high planned GID content to ensure compliance with As-Sold goals.
• Establishing project GID dashboards for simple communication of KPIs.
• Communicating with our Global Staffing Centers of Excellence to align on project specific resource needs and business forecasts.
• Coordinating monthly GID summaries and highlighting issues, concerns, or successes during a monthly GID review meeting.
• Identifying and developing needed procedures for GID implementation on projects based on size, scope, and complexity.
• Input to and review of project GID execution plans in conjunction with project GID Coordinators or Design Managers.
• Supporting development of discipline project GID execution plans, team building, and facilitating scale-up of GID resources
• Working with multiple discipline engineering teams to identify gaps in GID execution and opportunities for improvements.
• Briefing project management and other key stakeholders on Advanced Manufacturing KPIs.
• Conducting project Lessons Learned/Continuous Improvement Reviews of GID execution for continuous improvement.
• GID includes all of Jacobs Global Delivery Centers and travel to these offices or related project sites may be required.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in various teams, including multi-disciplinary international teams.
• Ability to travel internationally for 1-2 weeks each quarter.
• Experience in project/design coordination.
• Experience in detailed work planning for projects and deliverables.
• The ability to analyze data, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good English both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record of success working with the Global Staffing Centers of Excellence that routinely support Advanced Manufacturing (Krakow and Mumbai)
