In this role you, will help with the design and architecture of a test automation framework for DDoS detection and mitigation systems. You will work cross-functionally to define architectural standards and ensure the framework meets the needs of the product.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for component, integration, and system level tests
• Collaborating to understand product architecture, features, and develop automation strategies that support all levels of test types.
• Collaborating with test teams to integrate automated tests into suites and pipelines.
• Analyzing and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and ensuring they run efficiently in the build pipeline.
• Participating in code reviews and design reviews to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and alignment with quality standards.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET or a similar role with a focus on automation.
• Have proven experience in architecting and designing automation frameworks (Python, Java, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.
• Experience with networking and routing protocols (e.g. HTTP, TCP, UDP, BDP, GRE)
• Have a solid understanding of testing frameworks such as PyTest, TestNG, Unittest, JUnit, NUnit, or similar.
• Have familiarity with DDoS attacks, mitigation techniques, and network security.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, Qase) and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
