About the role:
As a Data Strategy Manager, you will be expected to develop relationships with business partners, perform creative analytics and research to develop compelling recommendations, and provide excellent management of his/her projects. You will maintain a forward-looking view on the CT landscape and provide strategic recommendations for BSC to protect our competitive advantage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluates market and competitive moves and macro-trends in the PCI space and assesses their impact potential to the business.
- Explores and recommends new expansion opportunities based on internal and external data sources.
- Monitors key clinical trends across specific segments of coronary therapies that may influence therapy development and device utilization.
- Utilizes strong analytical and quantitative skills to integrate broad corporate/divisional business performance needs into franchise level decision-making and strategic planning.
- Establishes strong relationship development/collaboration with global marketing, regional marketing, clinical, R&D and corporate strategy teams.
- Develops and implements of structured, practical, fact-based approach to market, customer, and business analysis and strategy development.
- Participates in cross-functional portfolio evaluation and integration projects.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or Healthcare/Biomedical.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in consulting, market research, business strategy/analytics, health economics, finance and/or marketing.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Creation of compelling presentations and effective communication of recommendations.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in diagnosing business problems and developing/implementing solutions.
- Proven experience combining multiple, disparate datasets to develop insights.
- Experience with a variety of primary market research methodologies and/or market modeling/analytics.
- Excellent project management skills and experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as an individual contributor and effectively in a team-based environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with healthcare industry claims data.
- Ability to influence leadership and key stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills and creating compelling, cohesive, and succinct presentations.
