As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will:
- Assistwith the commissioning of new fire alarm systems on constructionensuring seamlessintegration
- Assistwith testing and inspecting of existing fire alarmsystems
- Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader
- Complete commissioning within planned timelines
- Submitaccuratetime and expenselogs
- Work overtime when
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- lectro-mechanicalexperience(wither froma previousrole or througheducation) and user PC/softwareskill;proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must bewilling andable to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 poundsunassisted
- Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within18months
- Must be 18 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of fire alarm commercial experience
- High school diploma orAssociatedegree in related technical field
- 6+monthsexperience installing commercial fire alarmequipment
- Ability to read/understand design and construction
