As a Project Kuiper Software Development Engineer you will own the development, implementation and test of software for data pipelines and storage across vehicle test teams. You will work with engineering teams across ground and space systems, to develop and maintain a data platform ingesting multiple data sources and help to ensure readiness for launch operations. You will be focused on building and maintaining infrastructure for data warehousing, loading, transformations and vending.Export Control Requirement:

• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation and support of a data warehousing platform.
• Lead design, implementation, and delivery of a data platform in ambiguous and complex problem spaces.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to define and implement system architectures for integrated test venues.
• Build solutions to manage the many data sources needed to operate our system at large scale.
• Lead technical roadmap definition efforts and decide what features and performance improvements to build.
• Instill best practices for software development documentation, making sure designs meet requirements, delivering high quality software on tight schedules
• Automating and maintaining complex ETL workflows

You will be focused on building and maintaining infrastructure for data warehousing, loading, transformations and vending.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
