- MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Machine Learning; or 7 years practical experience in software engineering
- At least three years experience with software engineering in production systems (working with Python or R; and/or C/Objective-C/C++, Swift, or Rust)
- At least two years of experience as a tech lead for software features shipped in production, with a machine learning component in at least one of those features
- You are committed to helping others grow in their careers at Apple
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with fundamental ML concepts in production systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for project planning and in cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with recommender systems in production
- Experience developing for resource constrained platforms, especially mobile devices
