The Lead Logistics Analyst optimizes supply chain operations by managing inventory planning, materials management, and logistics processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Develop and implement inventory planning strategies, oversee materials handling and storage, and maintain optimal stock levels to support seamless operations.
•Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and inefficiencies, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
•Streamline logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the effectiveness of transportation and distribution operations.
•
•Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery, contract negotiation, and performance enhancement.NoEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
