Your day-to-day:
- Build and develop talented and high-functioning teams, lead them through ambiguity, and determine a long-term growth strategy along with the organization’s engineering roadmap.
- Establish clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations for the team members.
- Oversee the planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on quality, and within budget.
- Collaborate with product management, Design, QA, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements and ensure seamless integration and roll-out of deliverables.
- Work across organizations and with other platform leaders to establish technical guidelines, standards, and technologies in the Pricing domain that lend themselves to effective architecture/design decisions.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet business needs and project demands/ priorities.
What you need to bring:
- You’re a people person. You connect well with technically savvy engineers and other stakeholders across the organization. You demonstrate a high emotional quotient and empathy, with the ability to build trust and create psychological safety while tackling tough problems and navigating conflicts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years leading and managing software engineering teams for complex distributed systems, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong technical background and expertise in software development methodologies, technologies, and tools with proven experience in successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- A passion for Compliance/Risk technology and a dedication to staying updated with industry trends and innovations.
- Development experience in TypeScript/Java environment with experience deploying and scaling solutions on one or more cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments.
- Proven track record in leading & delivering large-scale initiatives working across functional teams.
- Payments and financial service knowledge is a plus.
