PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The CEP will help to manage customer expectations through understanding their challenges moving to a standardized public cloud environment. During this process, you will define the delivery model to make customers successful. This is a key role which requires deep understanding of ERP process across functional borders, as well as a sales and service-oriented attitude.

What you''ll do:

  • Plan and personalise the customer journey thus ensuring customer success for S/4HANA Cloud
  • Key member of the S/4HANA Cloud Delivery Practice who will help to manage customer expectations through understanding their challenges moving to a standardized public cloud environment
  • Provide our customers key insight and direction related to how S/4 HANA Cloud (transformation) projects are run using SAP Activate & best practices
Demand Generation
  • Ensure customers understand the unique selling points and the value that is provided by SAP’s S/4HANA Cloud offerings
  • Act as an S/4HANA Cloud thought leader, developing content pieces that can be leveraged in the marketplace to drive customer/ prospect demand for the solution and services
  • Review license pipeline, qualification and service attach for the Services portfolio
  • Support pre-sales activities (both license and services); Establish and actively manage executive-level relationships with key customer stakeholders (LOB and IT)
Execution
  • Scope customer requirements and develop detailed solution approaches to meet customer’s business requirements and be accountable for the outcome
  • For each qualified opportunity, provide S/4HANA Cloud solution positioning, high level solution design, and services engagement structure
  • For each won opportunity, drive the transition to delivery execution to support SAP’s implementation responsibilities
Enabling Scale
  • Create assets to support a scalable cloud delivery model, which helps to achieve lower & more predictable service costs, ensure high quality, speeds up time to value and is both partner and customer friendly
  • Develop & institutionalize DBS S/4HANA Cloud sales best practices with service account managers & AE’s across Japan

What you'll bring:

  • Responsible for end to end delivery of projects,Customer engagement, Incident Management, resolving escalations & strong project Management skills.
  • Able to build strong professional credibility both internally and externally, by effectively managing and developing relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • Competence in clear, concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers and team members
  • Understanding of cloud, hosted services, and SaaS/ PaaS models as well as cloud -based commerce and business networks
  • Experience with SAP Services end to end implementation (from services sales to delivery)

Preferred

  • Previous roles which will be helpful for a successful start include (not limited to): Project / Program Manager, Engagement Architect, BTS, Services Sales
  • Thorough knowledge of the S/4HANA Cloud solution, Services portfolio, customer use cases, competitive environment and knows what it takes to be successful
  • S/4 HANA Public cloud experience is preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years’ demonstrated industry/solutions knowledge and expertise in breakthrough positioning and the delivery of value-added content and thought leadership
  • 10+ years’ customer facing experience with involvement in sales areas
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Cloud line of Business (eg. IaaS or Pass or SaaS) is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in evaluating new business development opportunities in new or emerging markets.
