Lead a matrixed and globally distributed scaled media production operation involving numerous concurrent production workflows outputting multifaceted assets for numerous parts of the business.
Oversee a team responsible for the creation and execution of professional photography and videography shoots, including retouching / editing, as well as the quality of media delivered (by vendors or provided by hosts).
Ensure quality output of media meets or exceeds creative briefs and/or benchmarks, and improve content, materials, or education of the creator network as needed.
Partner with leaders across the company to ensure the Media Operations team delivers high quality, at a reasonable cost, and high speed.
Manage relationships with partners / third-party vendors to ensure delivery against the agreed upon statement of work.
Manage the network of freelance photographers to make sure the program has the right coverage and skillset to meet the demand.
Manage satisfaction towards the program to ensure high Host NPS scores and strong satisfaction level from the cross functions partners we cater to.
Be a highly tactical operator, detail oriented with a passion for tracking, reporting, finding opportunities to improve and building on processes and systems to help mobilize a global team.
Responsible for driving and managing the production team meetings & gatherings (weekly and monthly) to ensure we elevate hot topics and update project status’ on a regular basis
Provides solutions to complex challenges within team needs, specifically where there are pinch points and gaps.
Runs weekly production onboardings and ensures new talent is equipped with knowledge of all production focused tools.
Prepares and packages all information regarding budgets and quarterly updates into concise presentation decks with an executive summary format.
Your Expertise:
12+ years of experience, scaling operations and working with scaled media production operation and creative teams, ideally with experience working within a tech company
Strong leadership skills, to manage and inspire a global team and share vision to senior stakeholders
Experience making operational and production contributions at both strategic and tactical levels
At ease with an ambiguous environment with significant shifts in strategy
Able to influence product teams and to manage the essential technical aspects and platforms necessary for this media teams effective operation
Attention to detail while delivering at large scale
Strong financial background and ability to show return on investment
Experience developing and optimizing systems, tools, processes, and workflows for creative and production operations
Experience supporting changes in operational processes and aligning teams to a strategic vision
Process savvy and ability to audit and streamline easy of working into presentation deck format
