- Developing and maintaining the ECAD library which involves creation of 3D models, PCB and logical symbols and handling ECAD data in Perforce, Team Center, Calypso and PLM system.
- Providing ongoing ECAD library support.
- Acquiring a good understanding of, and enforcing current ECAD standards and Design for Manufacturing guidelines while chipping in to improving current design process.
- Supporting schematic development by debugging netlist issues
- Supporting designs for simulation by working in collaboration with Electrical and Component Engineers.
- Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of Cadence Schematic Capture, Allegro PCB Board Design, Symbol Editor, CAD Libraries, or Mechanical Drafting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Python or Perl Scripting experience is a strong plus!
- EE, as well as Mechanical background, is preferred
- Experience in 3D modeling and basic drafting skills is preferred.
