Job Responsibilities
- Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
- Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
- Find ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies
- Provide proactive coverage of a multi-state/segment territory with primary coverage of the Pacific Segment as well as coverage in the Southwest and Midwest Segments.
- Partner with colleagues within C&SI, primarily with Core, TDC/DCI and MNC as a Discipline banker
- Become the industry expert within beauty/cosmetics and household & personal care across multiple subsectors including but not limited to: brands, suppliers, distribution and co-manufacturing owning relationships across the supply chain
- Actively partner across lines of business including but not limited to: Investment Banking, Syndicated Finance, Asset Based Lending and Direct Lending
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Five plus years’ direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
