Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Builds compelling presentation materials and crisp PowerPoint visualizations that clearly convey the business’ product strategy, roadmap, and key successes to executive leadership and key stakeholders across JPMorgan
- Assists product and business leaders in crafting materials that effectively communicate their vision and its relevance to APR and JPMorgan leadership
- Collaborates with executive leaders to define and shape product strategy for the Merchant Acquiring business
- Leverages strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive decision-making processes both independently and in collaboration with executive leaders
- Provides thought leadership and guides development of agendas and materials for senior leadership offsites and executive business reviews
- Fosters a team-oriented mindset, leading within the team and collaborating with colleagues across the business to achieve shared goals
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- 8+ years of experience and demonstrated success in a combination of Strategy, Product Management, Executive Communications, or Consulting, with demonstrated understanding of strategy and communications best practices
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills and proven experience, with the ability to design, build and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex business strategies to executive leaders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet ambitious strategic goals
- Demonstrated ability to engage and lead discussions with senior-level stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, leading and fostering cooperation and contributing to shared goals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience with technology, product, or financial companies/roles (preferred)
- Graduate degree in business or communications
