Job Requirements

  • Support TD Securities’ Sustainable Finance & Advisory group, the investment bank’s sustainability subject matter experts, in pitching and advising TD Securities’ clients globally.
  • Coordinate with various groups across TD Securities – Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, and Research – as well as the broader TD Bank Group – Risk, Environment, and Treasury.
  • Establish a deep knowledge base of environmental, social, and governance factors and stay up to date on the latest global trends and developments.
  • Work with Bankers and Originators to recognize environmental, social, and governance risks, analyze existing initiatives, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Review corporate sustainability reports and other publicly available information to identify businesses’ strengths and areas of improvement.
  • Act as a Sustainability Advisor for clients looking to issue green, social, sustainable, andsustainability-linkedfinancial products.
  • Assist insustainability-relateddue diligence for equity and M&A transactions.
  • Responsible for putting together monthly publications, presentations for meetings, and maintaining database of sustainable capital markets transactions.

Qualifications

  • Graduating (undergraduate degree) December 2026 or Spring/ Summer 2027
  • All majors welcome, but significant coursework in a business-related field is required
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability
  • Strong financial/analytical skills, knowledge of MS Excel preferred
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and establish priorities with minimal supervision
  • Proactive and highly motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Successful candidates must have the capacity to become adept at financial modeling
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
