Sr. Product Compliance Engineer Supervisor (Gas)

Maintenance of existing certifications, including participation in factory audits, renewal of existing certifications to take not account changing requirements.

Be the certification lead for obtaining regulatory approval for gas detection products including ATEX, IECEx, CSA, UL etc.
Working with 3rd party test laboratories and certification bodies to obtain secondary approvals of products (e.g., Marin, Regional wireless etc.)

Work with Global Marketing to achieve world-wide certifications of Gas Detection products (e.g., North America, South America, Korea, Japan, China, South Asia, Russia, India, Europe).

Building long term relationship with certification bodies (e.g., UL, CSA, Intertek, DEKRA, KTL, DNV, SGS)

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other disciplines
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• ≥10 years product certification experience working with approvals standards for equipment to be used within hazardous area (e.g., IEC 60079 series, IEC 61010-1, UL 913, IEC 60079-29 Series, UL and CSA Hazardous locations, etc.

• Experience interfacing with relevant regulatory authorities and certification bodies

• Proven analytical abilities, organization skills, and attention to detail
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrent
• Strong technical writing skills and verbal communication skills
