Job Description

We are seeking an
Strategic Integration Project Leadin support of our Senior Vice President and his leadership team. In this high-visibility role, you will play a key part in driving alignment and integration across multiple sub-organizations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Integration & Coordination:
    • Support the orchestration of cross-functional initiatives and identify synergies across sub-organizations
    • Build lightweight governance structures and track key programs with a strategic lens
  • Executive-Level Communication:
    • Develop polished executive presentations, dashboards and strategic summaries that synthesize complex data into clear insights
    • Act as a thought partner in crafting communication materials for SVP-level engagements
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work with technical and business leaders to gather inputs, track progress and support cross-team alignment
    • Help connect dots across initiatives, surfacing issues and opportunities
  • Strategic Analysis & Problem-Solving:
    • Conduct structured analysis on key business or operational issues and recommend data-driven actions
    • Support strategic planning activities, including business reviews and operational roadmaps
  • Special Projects:
    • Lead or contribute to high-priority, cross-functional projects as directed by the SVP and his leadership team
Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering Management, or equivalent postgraduate degree, with strong interest in business operations, program management, and strategy from a top-tier university. Graduation date should be between December 2024 and June 2025.
  • Engineering background is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership roles, internships or research projects

SKILLS

  • Strong capability in structuring problems, synthesizing information and communicating insights clearly
  • High proficiency with Powerpoint and Excel; familiarity with project management tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and engage effectively with senior stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits Details

  • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
