Livestock Monitoring Lead, APSA Region

This role will also include the commercial development of key strategic initiatives identified across the markets, such as new features or collaborations and business model implementation across all livestock species. The successful individual will require significant strategic capabilities and will involve working both with local markets on important projects, and with global support functions on new product development, strategic initiatives and roadmap development.
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
- Lead collaboration and alignment with Regional and Market Leadership teams to execute on the Global Livestock Monitoring strategic plan. Setting priorities for the region, leveraging resources, tracking outcomes and holding markets accountable to delivery timelines
- Collaboration with local market Customer Success Teams to continuously upskill, exchange best practices and share insights to enhance customer success initiatives
- Focal point for the distribution of global training and marketing materials to local teams according to the country’s rollout plans and needs
- Build excellence in knowledge and proficiencies within the APSA region, through structured learning programs, technical resources and modules, and adhoc development opportunities within country teams
- Working closely with markets to identify opportunities for product development, market support studies or strategic initiatives in the region for global review and/or for in region implementation
- Collaboration with the Global Time Zone Technology Support Team to ensure seamless resolution of technical cases that are escalated from dealer network or by Tier 1/2 technical in market teams
- Close collaboration with Regional and Market Leadership teams on strategic initiatives, including business development opportunities and synergies between Technology and Biopharma
- Work with Global teams to ensure alignment of projects across the wider business and collaborate, were necessary, on cross-regional projects and act as the key point of contact and APSA liaison for Global Monitoring, R&D and Customer Success/Aftersales teams
- Keep abreast of economic, business and political trends or events in the APSA region relevant to the organisation, which may impact commercial activities
- Action the above job function in accordance with Company Commercial procedures and systems and sound business practice
- Ensure all company resources are effectively, efficiently and profitably utilised
What You Must have
- Solid prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in customer success, customer training, account management, or similar positions
- Enthusiasm for agriculture and technology, with a deep understanding of the dairy livestock industry including understanding of dairy reproduction, cow health, nutrition and milk quality
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex products and systems
- A functional understanding of the technology used in monitoring systems. Competency level required to engage with technical support and R&D to resolve product complaints or contribute to product development discussions
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-developed strategic and innovative thinking to execute organizational vision
- Experience in influencing others; possess a can-do approach with a genuine desire to work with others in achieving desired outcomes
- Ability to manage projects from concept to implementation, but with a high degree of collaboration and cross functional teamwork
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sales and commercial approach oriented
- Basic proficiency with CRM software and other operative tools
