As the new member of EY Hungary’s continuously growing Payroll Team within the Tax Service Line, your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with your team to execute payroll services for our clients, ensuring that payroll processing meets high-quality standards adhering to global delivery model with maximum automation. Additionally, you will be involved in expanding the Payroll client portfolio and supporting Partners in sales and business development efforts. You will also manage projects and clients independently.
Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
- Combining strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative and industry knowledge to lead in developing Payroll Operate services
- Oversee the entire payroll process from proposal writing to payroll implementation, delivery to invoice issuance and follow-up
- Maintain a high level of professional expertise and stay updated on regulatory changes
- Being a central point of contact – develop and maintain daily communication and relationships with clients and foreign EY offices
- Ensure the accurate execution of payroll services, including the review of analyses, letters, calculations, and documentation
- Take initiative and responsibility for improving and streamlining payroll processes
- Generating new business opportunities by identifying and fulfilling client’s payroll related needs
- Support and monitor colleagues' work
- Actively facilitate their professional and personal development
- Provide well-founded, specific, and timely verbal and written feedback to colleagues
- Encourage individual and team work among colleagues

- Client management:
- Knowledge of the client and the client’s business

- Support management decisions, execute them effectively, and represent them to the team
- Ensuring adherence to the Tax Quality guidelines
- Independently coordinate standard projects
- Supervise administrative tasks such as proposals, contracts, billing processes, and the collection of receivables

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Specialized certificate in payroll (OKJ course in payroll)
- 8-10 years of experience in Hungarian payroll
- User level knowledge in NEXON
- Good communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of Office products (Ms Excel, Word, etc.)
- Up-to-date knowledge in social security, personal income tax and labour law related questions
