You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.In this role, you will own the resources responsible for configuring and deploying all network infrastructure in new AWS data centers. This leader will drive the strategy to innovate and optimize our new deployments while instilling the highest level of operational excellence in tools and processes. The mission of the team is to deliver network capacity on time with zero rework.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years in a data center technology role
- 7+ years in management/team lead function
- 5 + years of TCP/IP networking knowledge
- 5 + years of knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment

- 8+ years in a data center technology role
- 5 + years of TCP/IP networking knowledge and knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
- Experience with building physical data center network, such as copper/fiber cabling- Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies installation and design as well as network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
