What you will do
Ariba Solution Focus
Get clear understanding of any technical/functional issue in the application that was experienced and reported by our customers
Reproduce the problem in question to facilitate a resolution
Investigate and diagnose the cause behind it and provide timely resolution/workaround that remedies the problem
Master and use available means for customizing Ariba application and develop a solution meeting functional requirement
Develop tools and solutions that improve productivity and leverage team knowledge growth
Customer Focus
Must be capable of supporting the client relationship with some manager assistance
Should be able to work closely with the client in meeting (phone calls, face-to-face) and exceeding their expectations for the projects they are supporting
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or technical discipline or equivalent experience
Knowledge of any object-oriented language (Java/C#/C++)
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of HTTP, HTML and XML
Basic understanding of web and network security standards and protocols (SSL, SSO, HTTPS, certificates)
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a willingness to pick up the phone when email isn’t getting the job done
Fluency in English
Ability to travel on occasions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of sourcing and procurement business processes or tools supporting such processes
Knowledge of SAP modules related to Procurement and Invoicing (MM, FI, SRM)
Other European languages are welcome (French/German/Italian/Spanish)
Understanding of SOAP and REST web-services
