Responsibilities

• Origination or new transactions through mapping and analyzing universe of sponsors, building in-person relationships with senior leadership team, preparing marketing materials
• GP Coverage, including liaising with senior leadership teams of private capital firms across PE, Private Credit, Private Real Assets, traditional asset managers, wealth managers, managing relationships and bringing in strategic resources to accelerate growth and development, required
• Monitor the performance and risk profile of existing portfolio investments

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking/Sponsor Coverage/Leverage Finance/Private Equity/Other Private or Public Markets Investing
• Experienced relationship focused professional to join a buy-side GP Stakes Investing origination and coverage team, covering private market financial sponsors; sponsor coverage or equivalent with senior relationship management experience, required
• Individual must have a strong understanding of private capital markets (especially PE), with a focus on relationship building and travel when required, preparing and maintaining industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials and other process documents, strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members, excellent communication (both verbal and written), multi-tasking, and time management skills, capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contact, required
• Sound investment judgment and outstanding numerical, analytical and valuation skills for the purpose of assessing investment opportunities
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills enabling the candidate to make robust recommendations to the Investment Committee and interact effectively with third parties
• Excellent time, people and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
