As a Mechanical Engineer,strong foundationin physics, mathematics, and materials science to design andmechanical devices, machines, and systems. You will take on exciting challenges, from conducting research and analyzing data to creating detailed technical drawings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. RoleResponsibilities:

• and troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision

• Lead or execute engineering projects, including the development of key suppliers

• Develop, design, ormodifyengineering layouts,schematics,ordrawings/specificationsof complex scope

• regardinga wide range of complex mechanical issues for specific projects

• Implement concepts for a range of complex product issues and solutions

• Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes; enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies;establishstandards across operational processes; serve as a technical expert on specialized projects or programs

• Generate product specifications

• Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports; specify and review engineering documentation; specify or perform complex engineering analysis

• Clearly communicate complex concepts andinfluence various perspectives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• -10years of experience

• expertisewith CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flowanalysisand/or Design for Excellence principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• selectionand manufacturing methods

• 3D CAD experience – UG NX, Pro-engineer or Solidworks

• Experience using FEA packages (Ansys, CFD-Ace, ComSol etc).

• Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories and practices

• Experience in the Semiconductor Industry

• Statistical Data Analysis – JMP, MS-Excel

• Experience with motion and robotics is desired

• Experience with Teamcenter

• Special consideration for reactor (thermal-based, plasma-based, or epitaxial) or vacuum platform experience.
