About the Role
This role is for the Product Manager of the Merchant Reporting team which builds tools for merchants to help access financial & operational data related to their business on Uber in a secure, accurate and timely fashion. This team is responsible for managing the reporting tooling, reporting APIs and some payment functionality. This role plays a critical role in solving for merchant's #1 pain point about having access to accurate data in a timely fashion via the preferred delivery method. We are pivoting towards using AI/ML capabilities to help improve the reporting offerings to merchant.
- Internalize and deeply understand Uber's mission and strategies, and use these to define and distill the mission and objectives for your specific teams
- Understand the needs of our merchants, consumers, and the business to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Collaborate with market-facing and engineering teams to address business needs with bar-raising product features.
- Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights into the product development process.
- Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to a broad spectrum of audiences, from internal users to leadership teams
- Work closely with engineering, ML, design, data science, and lines of businesses to figure out features to build next
- Ensure synchronization with other teams across the Merchant portfolio
- Support leadership and stakeholders with strategic inputs on product enhancements and contribute to cross-team initiatives
- - - - Basic Qualifications ----
- 4+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them

- Experience in building merchant/marketplace products
- Knowledge of reporting, data or AI/ML domain is a plus
- Prior experience in managing reporting, analytics or internal tooling products in organizations
